Culture

Some projects live a little outside the typical corporate space. These are the ones driven by culture, community, and shared interests. From designing shirts for Funky Roots to creating published artwork as a tribute to one of my favorite actors, the goal is always to make something that connects with people. Whether the audience is college students, collectors, or horror fans, these projects allow the work to be a little more personal and expressive.

Funky Roots

Established in 1997, Funky Roots is a unique collection of art presented on 100% cotton t-shirts.

The Art of Being Bill

Published in the 2018 book The Art of Being Bill: Bill Murray and the Many Faces of Awesome by Ezra Croft and Jennifer Raiser.

I was beyond excited to have my work published in this tribute to one of my all-time favorite actors. The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Lost in Translation, and Rushmore are some of the greatest films ever made.

UNC Charlotte

At UNC Charlotte, I advised the Student Niner Media teams across multiple platforms, including the student newspaper, website, radio station, and literary arts magazine.

Expo59

I was lucky enough to sell some of my artwork at various conventions and markets in the 2010s and still often feel the urge to revisit this work.
